Din 741 Wire Rope Clip

Product Overview: The DIN 741 wire rope clip (also called wire rope clamp or cable clamp) is used to create an eye or splice in wire rope by clamping the dead end back to the standing part. Made from malleable iron with electro-galvanized finish, it consists of a U-bolt, a cast saddle and two hex nuts. DIN 741 clips are the standard choice for general-purpose wire rope termination.

Applications: Used for wire rope eye termination in fencing, guardrails, general rigging, marine fittings, agriculture and construction. Suitable for static and moderate-load applications. For critical lifting, specify DIN 1142 (cast steel) clips instead.

Installation Guide: Apply clips with the saddle on the live (standing) end of the rope and the U-bolt on the dead (short) end. Use at least 3 clips for ropes up to 12mm, 4 clips for 13-19mm, and 5 clips for 20-26mm. Space clips approximately 6-7 times the rope diameter apart. Tighten nuts evenly, then re-tighten after initial load application.
