What is the difference between a Dee shackle and a Bow shackle
What is the difference between a Dee shackle and a Bow shackle?
A Dee (D) shackle has a narrower, D-shaped body and is designed mainly for straight-line, single-leg loads. A Bow (anchor) shackle has a wider, rounded body that accepts multiple connections and loads pulling from different angles. Choose a Dee shackle for simple in-line lifting, and a Bow shackle when the load may pull from more than one direction.
