What is a wire rope clip and how is it used?
A wire rope clip (also called a wire rope clamp) is used to form a loop or eye at the end of a wire rope, or to join two rope ends. The most common type is the U-bolt clip. Correct installation matters: the saddle (U-bolt) must go on the live end of the rope — "never saddle a dead horse."
